Chad is Partner at Lightcraft, starting with the company near its inception in March 2021 and is responsible for overseeing Lightcraft’s business development strategies, operational structure, and upholding the high-level principles that our clients rely on.  Along with experience in the motion picture industry dating back to 2003, his time in the drone industry includes oversight on numerous projects within LE, DoD, SAR, and ENG operations for clients such as ABC7 News, US Marine Corps, US Army Special Forces, LAFD and LAPD SWAT.  As a member of the Society of Camera Operators (SOC), Affiliated Property Craftspersons IATSE Local 44 and International Cinematographer’s Guild (ICG) IATSE Local 600, his primary motive is to support the motion picture industry with validated cinema drone services by supplying productions with reliable, safe and professional filmmakers alongside dependable, innovative industry-leading drone systems.  Chad is a pioneer with camera drones in the motion picture industry dating back to 2013, having worked on numerous major motion pictures including “Mulan”, “Extraction”, “Army of the Dead” and “Top Gun: Maverick” as well as series network TV including “Ballers”, “Orange Is The New Black”, “GLOW”, and “The Mandalorian”.
