Leon Schubert, known as “Halowalker,” is a highly skilled drone pilot with over a decade of experience in both high-speed racing and cinematic drone operations. A natural tinkerer and problem solver, Leon has always been drawn to the technical side of drones—constantly modifying, refining, and pushing the limits of what’s possible. Self-taught in many aspects of his craft, he has spent years experimenting with different setups and techniques, always striving to improve his flying and filming capabilities.

Leon made his mark in the Drone Racing League (DRL), where he became the 2023 Runner-up World Champion. While racing helped sharpen his technical precision and fast-paced control, he’s been steadily branching out into the world of cinematic and commercial drone work—bringing his dynamic style and DIY mindset to creative projects on set.

Now flying with Lightcraft, Leon is excited to combine speed, creativity, and technical know-how to help shape the next generation of FPV-driven cinematography. Whether he’s building quads, capturing a shot, or mentoring up-and-coming pilots, Leon brings the same energy: focused, creative, and always learning.
