Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Jake comes from an industry family and was practically brought up on set. Starting as a set PA at just 15 years old, Jake has now been a full time aerial cinematographer for nearly the past decade. His work encompasses mediums from blockbuster feature films like Creed 3 and Zombieland 2, to live broadcast productions like The Super Bowl Halftime Show (LVI), and hit TV shows like Landman, 1923, and Fear The Walking Dead. Jake’s work as a drone pilot includes the now famous opening scene of S1 E1 of the 2022 reboot of The Kardashians, which features an FPV drone flying through the homes of the cast, as well as action sequences on shows like Spec Ops: Lioness, S.W.A.T, and Quantum Leap. For Jake, versatility is the name of the game – his ability to work in either role as an aerial cinematographer or pilot in command has made him a flexible and effective fit with productions around the world.
